• Gig Harbor North – Take the Burnham Drive exit off Hwy 16 to Borgen Blvd. Some of the stores here are Costco, Home Depot, Target, Office Depot, Albertson’s (grocery) Petco, Hollywood Video, Pier 1, and Starbucks. This is also the area where the YMCA is located.

• Point Fosdick – Take the Olympic Drive exit off Hwy 16 and go south. There are 2 strip malls across the street from each other. Some of the stores here are Safeway, Bank of America, Goodwill, Moctezuma’s, hair styling, dry cleaners, Big 5 sporting goods. Across the street is QFC (grocery), Rite Aid (drug store), Hollywood Video, Ace Hardware, Liquor store, Schucks auto parts, a car tune up shop, Subway Sandwich, and a dry cleaners. West on Point Fosdick are a couple of banks, KFC, Dairy Queen, Lumbermans, Walts Muffler, and other shops.

• Olympic Village – Take the Olympic Drive exit off Hwy 16 and go north. Some of the stores include Fred Meyer (grocery), Bartells (drug store), Round Table Pizza, Good Year tires, Chinese food, Teriyaki, GNC, Christian book store, pet store, Quiznos, burrito shop.

• Downtown on Judson St. – Take Olympic Drive off Hwy 16 and go down Soundview. Turn into the shopping center just before Judson St. or take City Center off Hwy 16 and go down Pioneer then turn right on Judson. Some of the stores are Rexall (drugstore), QFC (grocery), post office, Ace Hardware, Japanese restaurant, florist, West Bay Auto Parts.

Tacoma – Just across the bridge is the Tacoma Mall, Costco, Sportco (Mike’s favorite store) and the majority of retail establishments you tend to find in any large city.
